We were tasked with increasing Krispy Kreme South Australia’s online sales, e-newsletter subscriptions, engagement, and fundraising sales via social media.
Taking over from an in-house team, our strategy was to create platform-native, engagement-worthy content and layered targeted audiences for the Facebook and Instagram accounts, and spearhead the TikTok account.
Krispy Kreme’s corporate brand tone is ‘warm with a wink’, and we really leaned into that wink. Creating Krispy Kreme SA’s first viral memes and trending TikToks, we crafted a more internet-savvy, humorous social presence for the brand without straying from its globally recognised personality.
We saw immediate success, garnering 30% increase in online sales, 180% increase in website traffic from social media, 160% increase in engagement rate, 132% increase in click-through rate, and a spike in newsletter subscribers–all in the first month. Since then, we have maintained or exceeded these numbers month over month.
